Details

With the Railway Computer RSL 82, Syslogic offers an embedded system designed for use in rolling stock. The railway computer is based on the Intel Atom x6425RE (Elkhart Lake) processor and is passively cooled. Thanks to its industrial design, the embedded computer is designed for an extended temperature range of –40 to +85 degrees Celsius at component level. In addition, the railway computer can withstand shock and vibration. The on-board computer supports high-speed CAN (ISO 11898-2), low-speed CAN (ISO 11898-3) and CAN-FD. The CAN interfaces can be configured without feedback. 5G modules can be connected via an M.2 interface. In combination with the x-coded M12 Gigabit Ethernet ports, which allow high data rates, the railway computers are fit for future applications. The Railway Computer RSL 82 complies with railway industry standards. These include EN50155, OT4 and the railway vehicle fire safety standard EN45545-2 HL3. An uninterruptible power supply is available as an option.
