This versatile vehicle PC serves as a data logger, control system, data acquisition device, and facilitates vehicle-to-infrastructure communication. Thanks to its wireless design, durable sealed housing, and secure screwable connection plugs, this embedded computer guarantees reliability and robustness. Equipped with integrated radio extensions like LTE, GPS, and Wifi, the Vehicle Computer VSL 82 also features an ignition controller, motion sensor, dead-reckoning function, and a responsive CAN interface, simplifying installation in vehicles. The industrial-grade Intel Atom processors from the Elkhart-Lake series deliver superior computing power with minimal energy consumption. These in-vehicle computers boast a long lifespan (at least 10 years fixed BOM from release) and can be customized with an E-mark certificate upon request.
