Details

The NIFE 105W is an Fieldbus gateway controller powered by the Intel Atom Dual Core x5-E3930 1.8 GHz processor. This small form factor embedded computer is suitable for M2M fieldbus communication via an FBI (Fieldbus Interface) expansion slot. Further Expansion is via 2x full size mini-PCIe sockets for optional mSATA/4G/3.5G/LTE modules. I/O includes 2x RS232/422/485 with auto flow control, 1x HDMI display port, 2x GbE LAN (supporting WoL, teaming and PXE) and 4x USB 3.0.  The unit also houses 1x SD card slot and 1x SIM card slot. The NIFE 105 meets the specification for PLC open and allows for solftlogic control programming via the Softlogic tool kit, enabling the unit to act as a SoftPLC controller and M2M gateway.
