This expandable, embedded system from DFI utilises the 6th Gen Intel Core processor family from Intel. Together with the Intel Q170 chipset and Intel HD Gen 9 Graphics, the system packs a powerful punch in applications such as industrial automation, process control, remote monitoring, ticketing and automated check-in systems. The system supports up to 32GB DDR4 SODIMM and is packed with I/O consisting of 4 x USB 3.0, 3 x COM ports and a choice of VGA, DVI, DP and HDMI configurations to support 3 independent displays. There is a massive 6 x GbE LAN of which 4 can be optioned as PoE. Expansion is via 1 x Full-size Mini PCIe (PCIe/USB) and 1 x Half-size Mini PCIe (USB/mSATA). The EC510-SD then has 1 x PCI expansion and the EC511-SD has 1 x PCIe x16.
