Dataforth Modules for Temperature Testing

Dataforth have built a strong reputation in temperature measurement applications, based on reliability and accuracy. Our partnership with Dataforth can facilitate the use of Signal Conditioners and Data Acquisition Modules in temperature critical applications.

Discuss your project requirements

Temperature stress testing and consistency management is an important part of any engineering project. Most heavy industries will involve the need to gauge temperature with accuracy and linearity somewhere amongst there processes. Dataforth have built a strong reputation in temperature measurement applications, based on reliability and accuracy. Our partnership with Dataforth can facilitate the use of Signal Conditioners and Data Acquisition Modules in temperature critical applications such as:

Power Generation – steam chambers, turbine temperature stress

Production Lines – temperature critical chemical stability, cooking, oven curing of materials

Heavy Industry – raw material forging, machinery temperature stress

Cryogenics – maintaining temperature consistency

Reliability Testing – product prototype testing

Research and Development – material temperature stress testing

Our range of Dataforth modules help protect the integrity of signals, amplify signals whilst protecting sensitive and costly measurement systems. In additional DAQ modules can convert analog signals to more versatile digital data.

Signal Conditioners

Signal conditioning modules measure analog signals and produce an analog output. Analog signals need to be ‘conditioned’ or prepared before they can be translated into a digital signal. Signal conditioning is the act of manipulating the analog signal before it goes onto the next phase in processing which is turning it into digital.

Sensors that measure temperature and stresses for example need to have these signals ‘conditioned’ before they can be picked up by a data acquisition device. They isolate the incoming signal (temperature fluctuations from a thermocouple for example,) protect and preserve the signals integrity from interference and then amplify that signal for a more usable output which can then be read by measuring equipment like a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or SCADA (Super Advisory Control and Data Acquisition System). Dataforth signal conditioners have wide supply voltages which offer the best in isolation, CMR, noise rejection and accuracy rates. We also offer custom solutions with parameters to suit your projects needs.

Data Acquisition Modules

Dataforth Data Acquisition Modules manage the signal conditioning of an analog input but then converts that signal to digital so that it can then be relayed directly to a computer for data logging and analysis.

Our range of MAQ20 Data Acquisition modules from Dataforth offer customers an easy way to monitor and control analog and digital inputs or outputs using a standard PC platform.

Thermocouple and RTD modules provide a direct sensor interface for simple connection and data logging.

Multiple connectivity options including Serial RS-232/485, Ethernet & USB, we have a solution for almost every application. Designed for use in industrial environments and with full software support provided, our systems offer unrivalled performance.
