The XF800 Series from Inelmatic is a fully waterproof IP66 rated, rugged 8 inch in-vehicle monitor with sunlight readable options for applications such as marine transport where water ingress is evident or vehicles operating in dusty environments that require protection; and restricted space call for adaptable brightness and hard-wearing reliability.

The screens have a native resolution of 800x600 but can support 640x480 up to 1200x1024 using a video scaler. The units manage brightness requirements from low light indoor ambience to direct sunlight, and includes a manual dimmer control as well as automatic brightness sensor to present the optimum brightness for the present ambient conditions, which is paramount when used in vehicle applications for driver safety. The screen can also be optioned to be touchscreen via USB or RS232, becoming a functioning HMI unit. Connectivity is universally dealt with by an IP67 rated all-in-one cable consisting of a USB, VGA input, 3 x composite, 1 x mic jack and a reserve cable.
